They say that knowledge is power. Our goal is to empower our clients by giving them the knowledge and understanding of how our creative process works. This ensures that our clients requirements are met on time and that everyone is satified.

Step I - Planning

This first Step is basically one big Q&A session between BrightFire New Media Staff and the client. The purpose behind this meeting is to learn about our clients company, their needs and wants, while identifying what their goals are for their website. We utilize several questionnaires to drill down to the most basic of needs while finding out exactly what they are envisioning for the site. By pinpointing exactly what the client wants we can ensure that the project starts off on the right foot.

Step II - Architecture

After we have to the data we need to get started we then more to Step II. Here we determine the best solution to produce your site, should we use a CMS Application, Blog or static content to produce your site? Once we have determined which technology to use we being to develop the flow and layout of the site. We also take into consideration any special needs you have, such as a user login, support area or the integration of third-party applications into your site. We being to build the overall site framework, so our clients can begin to get a feel for how the site will operate. After reviewing the framework, we will finalize the decisions on the features of the site that will affect the process as it proceeds to Step III.

Step III - Design

During this phase, we will produce a number of samples or mock-ups of the sites for the client to review. After the client chooses the overal general style of the site we will start customizing the site to our clients needs through a series of revisions. At this time we will also look at either integrating or developing the companies logo and any other special creative needs they have, such as specific images, graphics or icons.

Step IV - Production

After the client has approve a creative design, we begin to apply that to the sites framework. This will instantly allow the customer to begin seeing a functional website, with the look and feel they have approved. At this stage of development the site should operate smoothly with only minor adjustments needing to be made. Included in this phase is determining browser compatability and making adjustments for that, as well as validating the XHTML code and CSS codes. This will ensure that your site looks the same across many different operating systems and web browsers.

Step V - Launch!

Once we have obtained your final approval, we will install, setup and deploy site from your hosting space for everyone to see.

Step VI - Maintenance

Once we deploy your site, our jobs are basically finished, unless you would like us to maintain your site for you. At that point we will continue to work on your site to keep it up-to-date for as long as you like.
